ANne ingle Myles

Over the past two decades, I have dedicated myself to the intricate world of oil painting, acquiring both knowledge and skill. Portraiture has become my true passion, revealing my affinity for storytelling and delving into the rich tapestry of Irish social history.
Throughout my artistic journey, I have explored various mediums, including pastel and red chalk, expanding my repertoire. However, it was the captivating allure of watercolour that initially eluded me for many years. Yet, as I finally embraced it, I discovered a profound sense of liberation, empowering me to reinterpret subject matter with boundless creativity.
My pursuit of artistic excellence led me to engage with esteemed artists from both sides of the Atlantic. In my quest for mastery, I have actively participated in workshops led by notable American talent such as Dan Gerhartz, Michelle Dunaway, Scott Burdick, Susan Lyon, Cuong Nguyen, and Will Nathans. Additionally, I have honed my craft under the guidance of exceptional British painter Hugo Grenville and esteemed Irish artists Una Sealy, Joe Dunne, PJ Lynch, and the late Tom Ryan.
Through constant dedication and a continual passion for improvement, my artistic journey continues to unfold, inviting viewers to immerse themselves in the captivating stories and heartfelt narratives conveyed through my brushstrokes.
